Safety Coordinator Level A

This role supports the safe execution of a large-scale industrial project. The Safety Coordinator ensures compliance with Belgian construction safety legislation and coordinates health and safety activities across multiple contractors. The position works closely with project and construction leadership to maintain high HSSE standards throughout all construction phases. It focuses on proactive risk management, coordination, and continuous improvement of site safety performance.

• Coordinate and support contractor safety activities across the construction site
• Maintain and update key safety documentation, including coordination and intervention files
• Facilitate structured coordination meetings between multiple stakeholders and contractors
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor compliance with agreed safety standards
• Support project and construction teams in resolving safety-related issues on site

What we expect from you:

• Certified Safety Coordinator Level A
• Degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Strong knowledge of Belgian construction safety legislation
• 5+ years of experience in construction safety coordination roles
• Fluent in Dutch AND English
